RAISE Suite

The RAISE Suite project aims to remove the barriers to research data sharing (perceived effort, time, skills, and concerns about recognition and data protection) by automating the path from data collection to dataset generation under a FAIR-by-design approach. It integrates the EOSC-RAISE platform and extends the machine-actionable DMP, turning the persistent identifier DMP-ID into the main reference point for the whole data lifecycle. The project develops an SDK, a central hub, streaming nodes and certified nodes, tested in real-life pilot cases and open calls, and integrated with EOSC.

CERTH (through ITI and the Hellenic Institute of Transport – HIT) takes part in WP1, WP2, WP3, WP5 and WP6. It leads the mobility real-life data collection pilot in Thessaloniki (Task 5.3), deploying 43 Bluetooth sensors in 1, 000 taxis and strategic locations across the city and integrating the RAISE Suite SDK in HIT’s central data collection hub. In addition, it contributes to the RAISE Metadata Model and metadata engines (Tasks 2.5 and 3.4), ensuring interoperability with the EOSC framework.
