PROTECDOME aims to develop a holistic protection framework for public spaces against non-cooperative and malicious drones. The project includes the development of UAS threat scenarios, risk and vulnerability analysis methodologies for public spaces, innovative CUAS solutions for detection, tracking, and alerting, as well as field exercises and training material for LEAs.

Through these activities, project partners and European LEAs will gain a better understanding of threats posed by non-cooperative drones and of the available prevention and response measures for protecting public spaces.

CERTH-ITI participates as a technical and research partner through the Visual Analytics Lab, contributing to the development of AI-enabled security, anti-drone technologies, 5G security, physical security, and visual analytics. CERTH has a central role in the technical implementation of the PROTECDOME system.
