The main technological objective of this project is to discover and exploit knowledge inherent to the content. Key scientific and technological research project objectives include:

Research and development of novel knowledge structures integrating semantic concepts and multimedia descriptors

Research and development of knowledge-assisted content analysis techniques based on a multimedia ontology infrastructure to support semantic entity detection and tracking

Research and development of high-level semantic reasoning and personalization tools for automatic annotation and generation of metadata
