NESOIPlus

The LIFE24-CET-NESOIplus project accelerates the development of Energy Communities across EU islands, with a particular focus on outermost regions facing structural and geographical challenges. Building on the success of the H2020 NESOI initiative, the project delivers a comprehensive support framework combining technical assistance, business modelling, and investment facilitation.

At its core, NESOIPlus introduces a One-Stop-Shop (OSS) platform offering tools, capacity building services, matchmaking opportunities, and access to financing. The project will be validated through pilot activities in the Canary Islands, Azores, and Martinique, while launching two open calls to support 30 island energy initiatives. By enabling scalable, investment-ready projects, NESOIPlus contributes directly to EU Green Deal objectives and fosters sustainable energy transition ecosystems.

CERTH plays a key role in the project, contributing to the development of digital tools, data-driven services, and capacity building activities, supporting stakeholders in designing and implementing innovative energy solutions.
