The myLIFEPATH project aims to support cities in embedding active mobility (walking, cycling, micro-mobility) as a core element of health-promoting, climate-resilient urban mobility systems, contributing to cancer prevention and to the goals of the Cancer and Climate-Neutral & Smart Cities Missions. It establishes ten Urban Living Labs across diverse European contexts to co-design, test and validate interoperable digital tools addressing behavioural change, infrastructure planning, tactical urbanism, safety monitoring, traffic management and health integration, leveraging smart technologies such as AI, IoT and Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS). Grounded in co-creation and implementation research, it delivers scalable strategies to increase the modal share of active mobility, demonstrates its impact on emissions and health, and provides evidence-based policy guidance to cities.

CERTH (through HIT and ITI) is the Scientific Coordinator and technology provider of the project. It leads WP4 “Pilot interventions and evaluation framework definition”, technical and scientific coordination (T1.2/T2.2/T3.2), the specification of the myLIFEPATH tools (T4.4), mock-ups and MVP showcases (T5.2) and the My-Safe system for dynamic safety monitoring (T6.4). It develops tools including incentives for sustainable transport modes, a context-aware multimodal planner, a micromobility city dashboard, a multimodal traffic management system (My-ITS), the SPROUT Innovation Readiness Tool and the TRANSFORMER Knowledge Hub.
