GAIA

The projects aims at the technical and pedagogical design and development of re-usable software components, for the:

presentation of educational material

manipulation of graphs

experimental laboratory simulations

geographical information management

management and visualisation of 3D images

The above activities are being applied in secondary classrooms, in the context of a multidisciplinary course aiming to introduce planet earth from different perspectives, e.g. planet movements, magnetic fields, etc.
