The CYBER-BRIDGE project develops a cross-border cybersecurity framework within the EU, aligned with NIS2, the Cybersecurity Act, and the Cyber Resilience Act, enhancing threat intelligence sharing and cybersecurity incident management. A central component is an AI-based platform that acts as a hub for real-time cyber threat analysis, cross-border incident detection, and automated compliance monitoring with cybersecurity regulations. The platform integrates AI mechanisms for risk assessment, threat intelligence sharing systems, and cyber-forensics capabilities with secure evidence handling. The project also develops automated compliance tools, incident response systems with secure cross-border notification protocols, and sector-specific training tools. The solutions target SMEs, SOCs, and critical infrastructure operators. The overall goal is to strengthen operational readiness, interoperability, and resilience against continuously evolving cyber threats.

CERTH/ITI, as leader of Work Package 4 (CYBER-BRIDGE platform development and tool integration – WP4), plays a central role in integrating the project’s cybersecurity tools, focusing on automated compliance verification, AI-based documentation generation tools (security policies, incident response plans), and their integration into the project’s central platform. In addition, it leads the development of early threat detection and threat intelligence sharing between Security Operations Centers (SOCs) (Threat Detection Enhancement and Cooperation with SOCs – T4.4). Finally, it leads one of the project’s five use cases, applying the developed technologies in an Internet of Things (IoT) environment through a Smart Home scenario.
