ITI’s 3DLife project (1/1/2010-30/6/2013) is a European Union funded project that aims to consolidate the research undertaken by leading European research groups – including the ITI research group participating in the project – in the area of 3D Media Computing. The main objectives are:

creating strong European links between existing national research teams in the area of 3D Media Computing and eventually launching a European Centre of Excellence in 3D Media Computing,

consolidating existing European resources (e.g. computing facilities, laboratories etc.) and 3D Media Computing research, and

influencing the European and global 3D Media Computing research agendas towards the ever-increasing today’s and future computer networks.

The 3DLife consortium consists of seven partners coming from six different European countries and Korea, which cover many different research fields within the 3D Media Computing research area.
