Athina Tsanousa graduated from the department of Statistics and Insurance science of University of Piraeus in 2005. She received her Master's degree from the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of NTUA in 2010. She is currently a PhD student in the Department of Informatics in AUTH. The theme of the thesis is "Statistical and computational methods on biological data". Since September of 2018 she is working as a research assistant at the Information Technologies Institute of CERTH.
