I am a researcher with an interdisciplinary background in economics, computer science, and bioinformatics. My research interests have focused on risk management strategies in renewable energy, econometric modeling, mathematical optimization, scientific programming, and applications of machine learning and deep neural networks, with a recent extension into bioinformatics, including the analysis of genomic and proteomic data.

Since 2020, I have been a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where I have conducted research on a novel approach to the utilization of renewable energy sources, with a particular emphasis on production risk management. In parallel, I completed two Master’s theses as part of the two postgraduate programs from which I graduated: one focused on production risk management in decentralized wind energy systems, and the other on the application of Machine Learning and Bioinformatics techniques to identify hub genes associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

My research in the fields of energy and bioinformatics comprises a total of five publications in peer-reviewed journals (three in economics/energy journals and two in medical/biomedical journals), including publications in journals such as Applied Energy, Energies, and the Biomedical Journal of Scientific & Technical Research, as well as Springer-published journals.

I have worked as a Data Engineer, IT Consultant, Energy Trader, and Risk Analyst, applying computational methods for risk assessment, forecasting, and decision support using Python and MATLAB. At Accenture (2024), I contributed to the development of financial platforms, the design and implementation of ETL pipelines, and the generation of reports using Oracle PL/SQL. At Zenith (Eni S.p.A.) (2022–2024), I conducted energy price risk analysis, performed simulations, forecasting, and profit-and-loss analysis, and developed optimization models and data analytics tools. From 2021 to 2022, I worked at Deloitte as a Business Analyst and IT Consultant, implementing ServiceNow solutions and automating workflows using JavaScript.
