Postdoctoral Research Associate

Dr. Giorgos Tatsis received his BSc in Physics in 2001 from University of Ioannina, MSc in Modern Electronic Technologies in 2005 and PhD in Applications in Telecommunications in 2011 from University of Ioannina.
In the period 2011-2020 he has worked as a Research Fellow and University Fellow at the (former) TEI OF EPIRUS and the University of Ioannina.
Since February 2021, he has been working as postdoctoral researcher at the Information Technologies Institute of the Centre for Research & Technology – Hellas.
He has participated in research projects (“PENED 2003”, “Archimedes I”, ” Operational Program” Epirus 2014-2020 “) and has 43 publications in international scientific journals and international conferences.
His main research interests include software radios, digital telecommunications, object-oriented programming, embedded systems, microcontrollers, automation, circuit implementation (pcb), signal / bio-signal processing, sensor networks, eye-tracking, speech signal analysis, speech-to-text, heart rate study.
