Prof. Stelios Krinidis is Assistant Professor at the department of Management Science and Technology at the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH). He has also served as an adjunct lecturer at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Democritus University of Thrace, and at the Technological Institute of Kavala during the period 2005-2012. From 2012 until 2021 was a senior postdoctoral researcher at Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), one of the largest research organizations in Greece. Since January 2022, he also is an Academic Research Partner at CERTH.
His main research interests include computational intelligence, signal processing and analysis, pattern recognition, data analysis, data analytics, energy flexibility, non-intrusive load monitoring, building performance, building optimization, decision making techniques, visual analytics, etc. He has authored more than one hundred fifty (150) papers in international scientific peer review journals and conferences. He has also been involved in more than thirty (30) research projects funded by the EC and the Greek secretariat of Research and Technology.
