Sofia Papadopoulou graduated from the School of Geology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2018. In 2022, she completed the inter-institutional master’s degree in ‘Intergraded river basins and coastal areas management’ at AUTH. She has an excellent knowledge of English.
Sofia has been working as a Research Assistant at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) since March 2022.
Her research interests include Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems for Natural Resources and Protected Areas’ Management and Environmental Monitoring.
