Research Assistant

Sarantis Kalafatidis pursues his Ph.D. at the University of Macedonia, Greece, in the areas of Software-Defined Networking and Cloud Computing. He holds a MSc Degree in Applied Informatics from the same University. He investigates the research problems of cyber security, efficient resource allocation and load balancing for 5G and beyond networks in both data center and Smart-City network environments. He participates in various international research projects, such as SANCUS (H2020), NECOS (H2020) and FED4FIRE+ OC9 (H2020).
