Having graduated from the Department of Renovation and Restoration of Buildings at the Technological Educational Institute of Patras, Greece in 2015 she is very knowledgeable about the protection of Cultural Heritage and the great importance of preserving the historical buildings.
She has been working for three years in a company in Athens as a member of the design team. The projects she was involved with were dealing with 3D Photogrammetric restitution for historical monuments as well as the digital database of the Greek Land Registration.
In 2019 she took her Master’s Degree in Digital Heritage from the Archaeology Department at the University Of York, UK. As an Intern, she participated in a European Cultural Project called Emotive researching the emotional engagement of museums’ visitors and the ways the audience can have more active roles during a museum visit. Her dissertation was focused on the power of social media to disseminate cultural heritage and how the state-of-the-art technology can build pathways to bring museum experiences beyond museum walls.
Today, she is working as a research assistant at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Center for Research and Technology in Greece on projects which aim to promote Cultural Heritage by using digital tools such as 3D graphics and VR.
