Dr. Konstantinos Tsongas is an Assistant Professor at the Industrial Engineering and Management Department of the International Hellenic University (I.H.U.), Greece. Since 2013, he has been occupied as a Scientific Associate at the I.H.U., Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.TH.), the Center for Research and Technology Hellas (C.E.R.T.H.) and others, where he has been involved in 12 research projects (HORIZON 2020, ERASMUS+ KA2, National programs – NSRF).
His research interests include Additive Manufacturing of advanced materials, lattice structures, mechanical tests and material characterization, Finite Element Analyses, vibrations and optimization processes with genetic algorithms.
He is the co-author of 84 scientific publications, including 48 articles in peer-reviewed Journals, 2 Book chapters in international editions, 31 papers presented in international Conferences and 3 posters in national conferences. He is a Topic Editor and member of the reviewer board for 16 Journals.
