Konstantinos Palapanidis received a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Department of Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2011, and a Master’s degree in Computational Physics in 2014 from the same department. He obtained his Ph.D. from the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom in 2018. He has worked as a research collaborator at the University of Nottingham in the UK and as a research fellow at the Department of Physics at the International Hellenic University, where he also taught the course “Computational Physics and Applications” during the winter semester of 2022-2023. Since November 2023, he has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the National Center for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). His research interests are focused on machine learning and on the development of techniques for multimodal fusion.
