Research Assistant

Evdokimos Theodoridis studied Industrial and Management Engineering at Democritus University of Thrace. His thesis entitled “Semantic Mapping of an urban area using visual data” was conducted in collaboration with the Laboratory of Robotics and Automation (LRA) of Professor Antonios Gasteratos. His hands-on experience in Computer Vision and Robotics includes autonomous navigation (SLAM) and visual perception (object detection, semantic segmentation, 3D pose estimation) tasks combined with Deep Learning techniques.
