Mr. Christos Zonios received his B.Sc. in Computer Science in 2020 and his M.Sc. in Data and Computing Systems Engineering in 2021 from the department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Ioannina, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Security and Reliability of Neuromorphic Computing Systems at the same institution. He has worked as a full-stack developer, as an AI engineer, and has been involved in research projects funded by the Greek government during the first 2 years of his PhD. Since November 2024, he has been working as a research associate at the Informatics and Telematics Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology (CERTH) as well as various spin-offs of ITI. He has been involved in multiple research projects funded by the EC and collaborations with industry partners. He has (co-)authored 8 peer-reviewed scientific papers. His main research interests include systems security, side-channel analysis, language modelling and artificial intelligence for the internet of things (AI-IoT).
