Research Assistant

Anastasia Maria (Mariana) Mazi graduated from U.P. Computer Science of Hellenic Open University in 2020 with studies based on Telematics & Networks. In her diploma she studied the comparative evaluation of vulnerability detection software, simulating attacks on information systems.
In 2023, she received her MSc at P.P. “Communications Networks and Systems Security” from the Computer Science Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, writing her thesis on Security in cloud systems and penetration tests.
Alongside her studies, she worked as an IT Engineer / System Administrator and as an independent IT and cyber security consultant.
From July 2022, she works as a research associate at the Institute of Information Technology and Communications of CERTH.
Her research interests include cyber security, network and web application security, as well as cloud systems.
