Dr Alexandros Sfyridis works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH).

He holds a PhD in Transport Modelling and Applied Machine Learning from University College London (UCL), and has conducted research and teaching activities at leading UK universities, including Imperial College London, King’s College London, Birkbeck University, the University of Warwick, and the University of Westminster.

His research interests focus on sustainable mobility, air quality, traffic analysis, urban resilience, and applications of artificial intelligence in transport and environmental systems. He has significant teaching experience in GIS, data analytics, and machine learning, as well as publications in international scientific journals and conferences.
