Dr. Ioannis Manakos participated as invited keynote speaker at the 8th Scientific Conference with International Participation “Space, Ecology, Safety” (SES). The conference took place at the Russian Culture and Information Centre in Sofia, Bulgaria and was organised by the Space Research and Technology Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (SRTI-BAS) and the Bulgarian Astronautical Society (the BAS). Dr. Manakos’ presentation topic was “European activities towards an operational land monitoring service.”
