Thanasis Vafeiadis acquired bachelor in Mathematics (2002), master's degree in Statistics and Operations Research (2004) and PhD in Departmental Investigation of Linear Trend in Time Series (2011), by the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science A.U.Th.. His main research interests focus on the analysis of linear trend in time series, in statistical and factor analysis, and recently in machine learning and signal processing.
