Dr. Miltiadis Siavvas

Postdoctoral Research Associate

  • Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2016)
  • Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London (2019)

Dr. Miltiadis Siavas works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH). He holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Ph.D. in Software Security and Reliability from Imperial College London, under the supervision of the world-renowned Professor Erol Gelenbe. He has been working at CERTH/ITI since 2016, having participated in a large number of European and National projects as a researcher, and technical manager (i.e., work package leader, task leader, etc.). He has published more than 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He is a member of IEEE and has served as a reviewer for many scientific journals and conferences in the field of software engineering and artificial intelligence. His research interests focus on the areas of mathematical modeling of computer systems, software engineering (with emphasis on security, reliability, and software quality), and artificial intelligence with an emphasis on its applications in software engineering.
