Theodoros Semertzidis works at the Informatics and Telematics Institute of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, as a research associate, since April 2006.

His research interests cover areas of machine and deep learning, analysis and retrieval of multimedia big data, distributed systems, embedded systems, Internet applications, databases and social networks.
