Athanasios Psaltis received his Master’s degree from Department of Information and Computing Sciences of Utrecht University (2013), and his Diploma degree from Department of Computer Engineering & Telecommunication Networks at the University of Thessaly (2011). His master's thesis focuses on developing algorithms for sensing emotion in video. He has professionally worked as a game developer. His main research interests include computer graphics, computer vision, virtual reality, 3D reconstruction, affective computing and activity recognition. As of January 2015, he works as a research assistant in the Informatics and Telematics Institute of the Centre for Research and Technology – Hellas.
