Sofia Polymeni received her Diploma in Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia in 2018. In 2020 she acquired her MSc Diploma with a specialty in Intelligent Environments in Next-Generation Networks from the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of the Aegean and has been working as a research associate in the Information Technologies Institute (I.T.I.) of CE.R.T.H. since December 2020. Her research interests focus both on smart systems and their communication protocols in the field of the Internet of Things and Next-Generation Networks.
