Sotiris Malassiotis is a senior research scientist, in the Information Technologies Institute of the Center of Research and Technology Hellas, since 2001

He is conducting research is in the area of computer vision with emphasis in 3D reconstruction and processing. Applications of his research include 3D multimedia, biometrics, and intelligent man-machine interfaces.

Dr. Malassiotis has published more than 80 publications in refereed journals and conferences.
