Nikolaos Laloumis is a mathematician (2002) and holds postgraduate diplomas in Statistics and Operational Research (2004) and in Data Science and Machine Learning (2024). In the past, he worked for more than 10 years in consulting companies with experience in writing and preparing proposals and project management within the framework of National and European Programs, in the preparation of Business Plans for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, as well as in writing quality manuals according to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards. From 2012 to 2015, he was a member of the Register of Consultants of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE) within the framework of the project “Supporting Actions for Green Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility for Commercial Enterprises.” He also worked at the Center for the Greek Language from April 2016 to June 2019 as an executive of the Administration Department and as head of the Co-financed Projects Office. From June 2017 to March 2019, he was an external collaborator of the Panhellenic Federation of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders for matters of funding opportunities. He is a certified quality management systems auditor for ISO 9001. Since July 2019, he has been a research associate at CERTH/ITI with participation in various projects such as CORRAL, RAISE, SUSTAIN, COMFORTAGE, BOOST, REACH, SCALE, etc.
