Mr. Ilias Kalouptsoglou

Dr. Ilias Kalouptsoglou works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH). He holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He also holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia (UoM), with a thesis on “Software vulnerability detection using machine learning”, which he completed under the supervision of Professor Apostolos Ampatzoglou. He has been working at CERTH since 2020, having participated in a large number of European and national projects. His research interests focus on the areas of software engineering, with emphasis on software security and vulnerability prediction, and artificial intelligence, with emphasis on both natural and programming language processing, as well as on Large Language Models.
