Gregory Kalogiannis is an Electrical and Computer Engineer from the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Computer and Communication Systems from the same faculty. He is a PhD candidate at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Faculty of Engineering of AUTH and a collaborating researcher at the Computer Systems Architecture Laboratory.

In 2017, he was awarded by the HiPEAC excellence network for his participation in Arm’s (UK) research team, focusing on the prototyping of embedded systems and SoCs using FPGAs.

From 2010 to 2020, he served as a laboratory associate at the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaly (now University of Thessaly), and he is a founding member of TechProAcademy.gr.
