Eleftheria Lagiokapa studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). Since 2023, she has been a research assistant at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). Her work focuses on research, development, and implementation of artificial intelligence techniques, signal processing and multimedia analysis within the context of the interaction between art and science. She has participated in research projects such as ReSilence S+T+ARTS, which aims to create new technologies for designing the soundscapes of future cities.

Her master’s thesis was centered on modeling synesthesia, focusing on the creation of digital abstract paintings through sound stimuli, using generative adversarial networks (GANs) and aesthetic evaluation. In addition, she holds degrees in Piano, Vocal Performance, and Advanced Music Theory, and she is actively involved in the music field, reflecting her dedication to art and her pursuit to bridge the worlds of art and technology.
