Nikolaos Dimitriou received the Diploma degree in Electical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2007. From the same institution he received the PhD degree in 2014. As a graduate student he worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Information Processing Laboratory of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has also worked as a software developer in the private sector. Since the July of 2014, he works a postdoctoral research associate for the Informatics and Telematics Institute (Ι.Τ.Ι). His research focuses on the areas of video segmentation, object tracking and recognition.
