Mrs. Angeliki Botonaki

Angeliki Botonaki is a researcher, trainer, and European project facilitator (Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, Erasmus+), specializing in education, social innovation, and participatory learning methodologies. She holds a BA in Early Childhood Education (GPA 9.00) and a BA in Economics from the University of Thessaly, as well as certification as a Gordon Method Trainer.

She has worked as a researcher and educator in projects such as LibCommon, YWIS, SMOOTH H2020, ComPra, Lifeforce, and Save Life, focusing on the design of educational interventions, proposal writing, development of e-learning material, dissemination strategies, and impact reporting. Her work includes peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations at international venues (ECER, ERC Congress, Inclusion4Schools). Since 2025, she has been a member of the Stakeholder Board for the Horizon Europe ANALYST project.

In parallel, she has extensive experience in implementing creative workshops in schools, teaching children’s yoga, and delivering seminars on active listening and conflict resolution. She is the creator of the children’s podcast series “Imagine that…” and co-author of a children’s book. Previously, she worked as a business consultant in Interreg and national co-funded projects, and as co-founder and manager of a local business.

Research interests: Educational commons, participatory methodologies in education, lifelong learning, social innovation, soft skills development, resilience and well-being in education, and the integration of digital tools into pedagogical practices.
