Dr. Dionisios Kehagias

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Dionisios Kehagias has originally worked in CERTH/ITI as a research assistant from 2000 to 2006. Currently he is a postdoctoral research associate since 2007.

His main research interests include semantic web and ontologies, web services, intelligent agents, data mining, knowledge representation and knowledge extraction.

Dr. Kehagias is a founding member of the ISSEL research laboratory (2000) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, during his Ph.D. studies, where he and his colleagues rode high by ranking first in the international Trading Agent Competition in 2005. He has considerable working experience, which reads to his involvement into five European and two national research projects until today. He has authored more than 40 papers in journals and conferences, while he has been a referee in high impact publications such as IEEE Internet Computing, IEEE Intelligent Systems, IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing and Elsevier Future Generation Computer Systems, among others. He is a professional member of IEEE and ACM.
