The International Conference on Augmented, Virtual Environments and Three-Dimensional Imaging is organized by the European Community IST research project INTERFACE in collaboration with EURASIP and follows the organization of three IWSNHC3DI workshops (95, 97, 99). It will be held in the picturesque Aegean island of Mykonos in Greece, at the most delightful time of the year. The conference will consist of sessions with both invited and contributed papers. The conference proceedings will be published and distributed to the workshop participants. Due to conference facility constraints, attendance will be limited with priority given to those who submit and present a paper.
