The University of Brescia (UNIBS) (P12) will address the issues of content-based multimedia analysis, and MPEG-7 and MPEG-21 standards.

Specific issues for which a common interest and interdisciplinary in skills exist could be considered as a starting point for new project ideas on innovative topics.

Regarding standardisation, UNIBS will prepare joint contributions to MPEG-7 and MPEG-21 standards, on issues related to content-based multimedia description creation and simplification.
