Munich University of Technology (TUM) (P8) has strong experience in image and video segmentation algorithms.

TUM is a key contributor to the MPEG-7 standard and it maintains the MPEG-7 XM reference software.

TUM will demonstrate software and hardware solutions for image and video segmentation and will represent the Network of Excellence consortium in the MPEG-7 meetings.
